@inaka_rob this game has a rhythm of its own, its like dancing with all the grils on the floor..... im sure uhave felt it, incoming meele attack from right or left hand of zombies_moving away from blows_decide to land a blow from right or left_choose from head to toe, its actually a bit complicated to put into words. after killing a hundreds of em u start to feel the rhythm in you, dancing your way through cracking bones or slashing flesh is the rhythm u feel in this game, well for me thats what i have felt. hey don worry abt the budget, the reason why MW3 have a $250mil marketing budget, its a game for every gamer, not everyone will be willing to give this a try. think of Skyrim, its got the worst meele combat, but if u play as a magician then the game is totally at an upper level but DeadIsald is a new breed in meele fps games. I have seen other reviews in Gamespot n DeadIsland did good enough.
well they are so lazy, that they did not bring any changes in modelling i did not play ME1 but ihave played 2 and not very long ago, so ican tell it is almost the same.....ibet 1's similer too. the gameplay has gotten very old school @CyanideTonic new graphics=lol, powers= seen better, story line= no objection in that summery= dude u need a new brain to think.
It would be good if they add a fetch option, you know i shoot a barrel or something from a distance and my zombie dogs fetches and brings back stuffs to me. yes i understand, you can add this skill at the middle of the game :)
