@RedChuckz: With that budget I'd wait until Nvidia releases their Pascal-based gpus in 2016, or run with a couple 980ti's in SLI. You'll be good for years.

Why is the review for this game taking so long? Is it because the pc version was a bit massacred and they are taking the time to address that?

@INF1DEL @anewellz01 Thank for your humility man. There is a VSynch option but it looks like it's off. If it is on I question the ability for its Intel® Core™ i3-4130T Dual-Core processor (3M Cache, 2.9GHz) to keep up. I think the ps4s is like 1.6 GHz, so VSynch has to be turned off in the above video. If not the texture detail needs to be taken down a notch and the frame rate locked. I bet it would still beat the ps4 though...I thought the Ps4s would be at least 2.6 GHz and am surprised by that. Ya truly get what ya pay for...

@INF1DEL I didn't miss a beat pal. Though this is probs a compressed video it did not look as though it ran the game (which is so excellent) very smoothly and he even mentioned as much. ...I confess that I finally built my own rig and have been a bit spoiled. I am not a pc master race asshole and I love my ps4, but I would buy a ps4 before I would this in said configured price range. You can upgrade alienware Alpha with more ram/faster cpu/etc, but you still can't upgrade the GPU. Once configured at its best it comes to $899 with decent but not awesome specs. Just an opinion...try being less condescending

Nope to everything about this. You can't even upgrade the mobile graphics card. As configured at almost $600 it's specs are not even up to par with new new consoles. Jut buy or make a midsize upgradable gaming pc for a similar price and hook it up to the tv/stereo. done. I see no need for this over-priced steam-machine turned pc/console hybrid of whose description it's developers are not even clear about. The non upgradable graphics card is what gets me...

This PC sample is not reflective of what it actually looks like on a good pc without the HD texture pack. This game looks badass on my PC and not washed out and with screen tearing as is shown here. They need to retest the pc version on a better machine...that or learn how to configure gamma/brightness properly.

I have this game on max settings and it runs beautifully, but this is not the game that was revealed at E3 2012 and for that I am a bit disappointed. I think a lot of people feel slated because that graphical expectation was not met. Indeed the graphics are not everything, but what was shown at E3 took visuals in games to a new level that we all hoped and maybe once the cross-generational console lag ceases, will be, a new standard. This my friends is why so many people are disappointed with WD even though its still a good game. I am surprised how similar the ps4 and pc versions look...
