The messages at the beginning, though! :)) I'm 90% sure that was done intentionally, but not nice, guys, edit your videos, for real :)

@kadaverhagga:There's also War Thunder and FF14 with keyboard and mouse support on PS4. Who knows, maybe we'll start seeing more strategy games for the PS4 soon.

As for console gamers and k&m, read the reddit link in my first comment, k&m games would be separate and could potentially cross play with PC and xbox players that use k&m.

@kadaverhagga: Keyboard and mouse are supported on the PS4. I can play Paragon with k&m on PS4 for example, a game similar to Overwatch. Also, according to Microsoft, keyboard and mouse support is coming soon to the xbox as well.

You can make it cross play and be fair at the same time. Just add an option for cross platform play in the game and warn players that they should connect a keyboard & mouse to the console when they select it, so they're on even footing. This way you could have keyboard/mouse exclusive matches on PS4 with PC cross play. And everyone's happy :)

It's not that that there are more male gamers. As most of you have said, you would have no problem playing as a female.

The issue is a psychological one, one based on femininity which at it's core has nothing to do with violence or competition in general. Games are inherently competitive and more often than not violent. This means, realistically, a woman who becomes a fighter is a very rare exception. That may also be why there are so few female gamers. A lot of women see games as a waste of time.

That doesn't mean there shouldn't be more games with female protagonists. It just shows the motivation behind current trends.

Unless we start raising female children the same way we raise boys and treating them the equally, this kind of thinking will continue. But I doubt that will happen. Femininity is a big part of our culture and women certainly like it.

Therefore, there is absolutely no problem at this time with thinking a male character will generate more revenue. It's not being feminist, it's actually respecting female values, because most games are violent and most women don't want and wouldn't see themselves being that way or playing such characters.

Ubisoft buying THQ doesn't mean games will ship full of bugs, just like Disney acquiring Marvel doesn't mean we'll see Mickey Mouse in a Spiderman movie.

It's almost a certainty that they would keep the current studios and developers instead of going through a costly redesign and hiring new people.

That being said, new games coming from THQ will still have the same quality regardless of what company buys it, as long as it's interested in funding the development of those games.
