I've been screwing around in the map editor for a few days. There are definitely viehicles and AI. You can place enemies and weapons and vehicles and animals and all that good stuff. No idea what OP is talking about.

You can place them in the editor but you can't verify and publish the map. You can only play with AI and vehicles alone.

Right gents, what I mean is you CAN put the vehicles and AI onto the map, but it can't be verified for multiplayer as far as I'm aware. For me this means no AI slaughter with your friends while driving around on quadbikes.

Having became one of the few people to receive the game before release I feel proud to be able to voice my opinion on the map editor first. So very blandly, here is what I make of it. Pros -Lighting -Better Water -Better Storms -Caves Cons -No Vehicles -No AI -No Gun Turrets -Everything is rusty -No Modular Building components (Items which can be used to make a lot of other structures i.e. the Colonial Walls on FC2 and the large concrete panels) -No Non-shanty Houses. -No Windows -No Snow or similar atmospheric conditions, just tropics -Limited objects in map grid areas (Similar to FC2 but I heard it had been removed) -No Zip-lines -Smaller Overall Map Thank you Ubisoft. The years of development have helped me develop my map editing skills from Savannah based maps to Tropics based maps. At least we can now have caves and lights, even with losing Vehicles and all that.
