@simonthekid7: The first battlefront wasn't made by EA. EA was not involved in any way, shape, or form. The first collaboration EA had with Star Wars was SWTOR, and that was because they bought Bioware, which was already developing it.
Disney didn't say enough is enough; EA signed an exclusivity deal, and they had to release a certain amount of Star Wars games, which they didn't, and let the license expire. With the share that Disney takes from developers to use the license, only big studios can even afford it, and the only games that have been worth while have been Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor.
Ubisoft has already messed up, and Outlaw will be a dumpster fire and a flop. Mark my words. The Star Wars brand doesn't command the respect or weight it did before Disney completely ruined it by prioritizing DEI and advancing their political agenda.
If Phil Owen is giving it a 5, then that means the fil is not awake enough. Which means it's good. After all, Afterlife has a 94% audience rating for rotten tomatoes.
