@Baconelite: thats a pc vs laptop not a console. Thats like comparing a dvd player and tv vs a portable dvd player theyre were designed to be portable for people who work on the go and have to travel gaming on them is a really nice bonus
I dont see ps3 ps2 or ps1 coming to psn when ps4 games really dont see a graphics boost on 95% of the ps4 titles all though it would be nice to play all gens like XsX does they can do it because there is a few ps2 games in the ps store and ps3 games they keep remastering so ur forced to pay $60 for a nicer looking version of the same game. Id love to see more ps1 or ps2 titles in the store or as a ps plus subscription owner free games especially all the twisted metals
@Baconelite: considering its a sony exclusive its not possible i have both consoles so.... Ps4 pro looks the same for miles morales as the ps5 version in game default or resolution mode they both look good difference is ps5 version of spiderman is remastered looks about the same as the ps4 pro boosted version. I know every ps exclusive. And every Microsoft exclusive vs every 3rd party game i compared 3rd party games that i bought for both to test cod cold war cod mw ac Valhalla marvel advengers nfs heat nfs payback just testing serveral hours. But quick resume ps5 has for 1 game xbox has it on as many games ur drive will hold i dont see ps5 getting that option would be nice though. I think the external will be allowed for ps5 in a later update just e for game transfers only not play from a hdd. Same with the folders just an update fix im sure it wont be long before we see ps5 only games so ps4 default wont matter.
Sounds like u need to upgrade to XsX 4k native at 60fps when ps5 in resolution mode is native 4k at 30fps or Professional mode dynamic meaning crappy boosted 4k at 60fps cartoony graphics as a owner of both XsX looks better at 60 fps and stays looking georgous. I dont see ps5 getting quick resume so dream on or buy an xbox. I agree on the folder part it is bs that ps5 doesnt have that. If ps5 supports external it will only be to store ps5 games for transferring u wont be able to play ps5s from it only ps4 games. Trophy system isnt hard to access ur not looking. Ps5 games ar ps4 default could be better but not hard go to the game app look right see 3 dots click on it u will see the ps5 version. Sdd is kinda slow vs xboxes ssd. I got 12 gsmes to fit on ps5 and 41 on XsX only 10 were xbox 360 games which now run 4k they look amazing for the erra and the boost. And the others are from the game pass either xb1 or X/S enhanced. Forza looks great on the Xbox series X.
People u do not have to upgrade yet so far most games are being released on current gens and new gens... U can still play ps4 games with ps5 owners. So if ur friend gets 1 and u dont u can still play cod or gta or Snowrunner whatever same for xbox 1 and x series x players. Ive tested it out on both consoles. So slow down. Dont buy from scalpers just report them if u can. Wait til after November 27th and u will see $500 systems and preorders popping up everywhere they did this with ps4 and ps3. Also if u buy 1 i suggest u toy with the settings and run in resolution mode the console has 2 modes performance mode has higher fps but looks cartoonish and grainy but faster side scroll but to me makes enemies harder to spot or resolution mode which makes all ur games pretty and smooth slower side scroll in fps shooters but enemies just pop easier. And games look amazing in that mode. Dont play on game default that its set in factory u may be disappointed. Cool plus about the ps5 u can transfer ALL UR GAMESAVES FROM UR PS4 and download the game and pick up where u left off not sure if u need ps plus since i already had it. Just say yes in the set up to transfer ps4 data. Also u can use remote play from ur ps4 and control ur ps5 play games and play with the ps5 dash board while playing on ur ps4. So upgrading has its perks but dont rush to get it those games will alwatlys be there to buy when u do upgrade buy it when theyre mass produced or cheaper. Rn it needs more updates inorder for all the features promised to us will work . good luck and hope everyone gets 1 at msrp price or lower
@subsided94: i paid $533.93 for my ps5 with a drive and $533.93 for my x series x at Wal-Mart paying over msrp is pointless or paying scalpers instead of reporting them like on Facebook.
My XsX and Ps5 both came on time from walmart the X came on the 10th from fed ex and my ps5 came today fed ex warning this thing has bright lights and its massive kinda slow downloading games im still trying to find rest mode appearently ps button isnt bringing it up. Warning after formating u get 502 gbs free for games cod cold war is 143 gb miles morales is about 70 other then that im still testing it keep checking Wal-Mart something i found odd is ive been noticing restocks around 9pm est on walmart.com usually on a tuesday i had a chance to buy 2 more preorders if wanted them but 1 is all i need not greedy lol good luck everyone be patient more will sprout up after black Friday before Xmas Rn theyres not hardly any games for the ps5 im using ps4 games on the console to fill the drive up some 14 games was the most i could fit with cod coldwar being the largest.
@6t4gp: I have my series X already tommarow ill have my ps5 its in transit i got both consoles just not the right tv yet least til a 40" monitor or tv in 8k at 120 hrz hdmi 2.1 is available i cant go bigger then 40 on my set up any smaller looks funny in my set up i see a 32" asus coming and 43" but need 39 or 40
