I wonder how the developers feel about the hoverbike being the real hero of that game. 😏

@gameboy8877: Remnant and its sequel seem to have done a better job with procedural generation in a 3D environment than anything I’ve seen so far. That being said, it takes more inspiration from Dark Souls than any sort of roguelike.

Sorry for your loss, Kurt.

Glad you’re doing well now though, as grief is a powerful emotion that can and will hit you hard in the gut, and it’s perfectly okay to let it all out and not bottle it up, as I’ve had to learn the hard way myself with several of my friends and family passing away in the past couple of years since I naturally want to be stoic for the sake of my surviving loved ones even if it isn’t healthy for me in the long run.

Sorry for the rambling by the way, as this was kinda bouncing around in my noggin here lately and by typing it out, I’m finally addressing it instead of pushing it back down and ignoring it like I usually do.

A life sim in the vein of Animal Crossing mixed with the farming elements of Stardew Valley would be neat, methinks.

Very kind of them to do that.

Not even Stephen King was willing to reveal the ending to his Dark Tower books for an elderly lady who was a huge fan of his and was effectively on her deathbed, though he was polite in his response to her saying that he didn’t want to give her an ending that might later turn out to be false since he was still writing them at the time.

Personally, I’d have told her whatever ending I had been thinking up if it were me in that situation since in all likelihood, she wouldn’t have been around long enough to see the final book in the series released since he was still on the third or fourth book when she wrote to him, and if it had all been a ruse to get him to spoil the ending, he could have quite a bit of fun giving an ending that later would go unused in favor of whatever he felt actually fit with the later book.

Cool beans. They deserve the love in my opinion.
