it all about the tv u have westy tv have hdmi problem. but sony is working on it. go to avs forum.

ok thats what i'll do, what would frustrate me is if i will actually see problems and then id have to go back and buy cables, damn that would suck since i already need to buy a optical cable for sound.
yes i think it will work too, man i want hdmi to work and i hope there wont be any blinking problems, btw once i get the ps3 ill set it up first and update it to the latest version right away.(hows thats done btw just so i know?)
I haven't had any problems with my ps3 and the hdmi cable. I've got the sony cable running to a 32" lcd hdtv. Everything works great, and I couldn't be happier!lokestar
what sony cable? btw i have a question, if i were to use the component cables for video(the 3 cords for video) and leave out the red and white for sound and use optical for sound(cuz i have a surround reciever so ya), that should work fine right? btw there are no problems with blinking or anything when using with component yea?
oh wow so thats preety bad, so everytime the game loads the screen will be blinking and i have to go behind my tv and unplug the cable? god i might aswell just get a component cable then man? it sounds like too much of a hassle, does the blinking stop at a time atleast? or do u need to unplug it and plug it back and only then it will stop?
well im gonna buy a ps3 today and i plan on using hdmi but i heared problems about blinking black screen and stuff, is anyone using the ps3 with hdmi without any problems or is anyone that is using hdmi has these kind of problems?
