It depends on what you mean by "uneventful" , you really can't expect to jump right into the pvp action or incursions just after the trial.I myself just upgraded my trial from 7 months ago and i'm steadily getting bigger/better ships.

I like to compare Eve's combat mechanic with wow's even though it's MUCH more complicated it's still the same concept , you lock onto a target and then each ship takes "turns" in damaging each other( much like an auto-attack but player controlled).

It's a good game, i recommend it.

Man , they keep recycling them like them CoD's , basically the most stable win so far was xp followed by 7 with vista inbetween which was horrible , i suspect this will be the case with win 8 too , maybe win "9" will be more suitable as a replacement for win 7 , untill then i'm not changing my win.(xp->w7->w9 , perfect upgrade order)

i'll give it 2-3 years maybe (deffinetly not 10, in ten year wow would be like runescape is today ) , if their lucky.It could live on if blizzard plans a massive OVERHAUL , but that would take to much resources and time , they would be better off with designing a new mmo which is exactly what they are doing.

Personally i think Guild Wars 2 will mark the beginninng of the end for wow , not just in gameplay and graphics but in the PAYMENT method.

Well i played it a few years ago , and i can say i found the story INCREDIBLE at that time , i mean , it really sucked me in.Don't know if you mind how it looks , but it's deffinetly wortht checking out :D
