To everyone who thinks this counts as fair use, fair use only applies when you alter it significantly. Whoever made this, who is likely not Trump or his team but a fan, took the original and only overlaid the quiet bits.

This can be claimed as copyright the same way that music can be considering that it's just matching a few seconds. Should have been matched from the word go though by YouTube.

I'm getting Watch_Dogs without a doubt. I've been looking forward to this one for more than a year. As for the others, well, I'll see when I get to it

Ok then, check the price for the PS4. That doesn't come with all the features. That is missing the $60 PlayStation Eye, so that makes it $40 lower than the X1. Or if your Australian, that makes it $10 more expensive. Ohh wait, I forgot about requiring the PS Vita for Remote Play.

At least with the X1, it's using current devices such as your phone or tablet for smartglass, not having to go out and buy another device that you may never use.

So while the $100 camera may not be used by you, so be it, I've heard you can disable it anyway.

But I would much rather spend the extra $100 on the X1 and know I've got all the functionality I can out of it instead of buying a PS4 and knowing I'm not getting everything.

@MW2ismygame @Clarkinator Ok, first of all, the DRM is abusive how? At least we have a guarantee that it's not going to do a SimCity level flop on launch since they can already handle the current load and they are just increasing the amount of servers.

Secondly, I'm a second year IT student at university, so I know for a fact that the cloud processing is not a hoax, so nice try.

Thirdly, I don't know where you found that it would be hard to remove, I never heard them say it, however I did hear of that come from EA about SimCity and that was a lie, but still, never heard it from MS.

@hated001 It's 5 months before the console is even released and yet this is a problem? They have months to turn this around, and in any case, if you don't want the camera on, just place a sticker over it or something.

Also, do you really think that Microsoft is really going to want to watch people sitting on their asses for 8+ hours as people play the next Elder Scrolls game? You wouldn't even see anything.

I didn't care about this. It doesn't help me in any way.

Personally, I liked the DRM because it allowed for the family/friends library. Now that it's gone, I have to borrow the disc. But on that note, I'm not going to head home, which is a 14 hour round trip, just to go and get a disc. I go home at best twice a term, so if they wanted to play it good luck with that if it was a popular game in the house.

So I'm going to just leave this here so people can read it. The validity of this is amazing. http://www.dorkly.com/article/52521/don-mattricks-first-draft-of-the-xbox-one-update-announcement

@TheGamerPhenom @Clarkinator Ok, so I may have gotten that part wrong, however I'm glad you pulled me up on that since I can correct my statement.
So the DRM means that if you are banned, you can't play the game. How often are you going to see people getting banned from their service normally? Very few so I don't see that as a major risk ever.

@WhiteStormy @Clarkinator @Dreamcast86 Ahh, fine by me. But you missed the point. "I've heard rumors in the wind that you can turn that feature off as well."

@Dreamcast86 @Clarkinator Not really. I've heard rumors in the wind that you can turn that feature off as well. Besides, even if it doesn't, is it really that hard to just put a sticker or something over the camera if you don't want it on?

The same thing is in laptops everywhere and there wasn't a big stink about that. Even though it can be REMOTELY activated on your computer if someone has the right skills.

Hell, I would take always listening over always watching any day of the week but that's just me.

Thank you Microsoft. At least the games will be at the same price point as current gen games.

Too many people are blowing this DRM thing out of the water, I mean hell, it's currently in effect now if you've ever bought a game using both Xbox Live's online service or PlayStation's online service. You get banned from the network, you lose access to your games.
Infact, there is less DRM since you can have one massive library between you and your family and/or a few friends. So you're brother buys a game, and you can play it, while in another STATE as long as he isn't. Sounds like a fair deal to me. Saves me postage when I want to send games home for my brothers to play.
Ohh and the always online, think about it, do you use your Xbox Live profile or your PSN profile on your current gen console? Because if you do, it's checking for an internet connection much more often than you think. How about every time you turn on your console?

Now the Always On Kinect sensor is another thing, which as far as rumors have it, you can turn that off anyway.

So before you bash anything, do your research.
