Yet another game I was looking forward to gets delayed. But I'm all for developers taking as much time as they need to finish a game, hopefully, the final product will be worth the wait :)

@Pawfalcon: It seems to me that many games that looked very promising (Star Wars 1313, Prey 2, Rainbow Six: Patriots, Silent Hills etc.) have been cancelled recently :( But at least we get our annual Call of Duty, Battlefield and Assassin's Creed games! I hope that there is even a small chance that someone might continue developing these games from where the previous developers left off and release them, although I don't know of any instance of that happening.

I hope you slept well, Jess :D

We really don't need another Assassin’s Creed-style game. Of course it's possible that this new game from EA will have something unique about it that sets it apart from all the other 3rd person open-world action games, but knowing that big companies avoid taking risks whenever possible, I doubt it. But I guess it's too early to judge since we know almost nothing about it.

I'd like to thank everyone from GameSpot again for doing the 72 hour Extra Life stream. It was a truly wonderful experience just like last year and the year before. Unfortunately, I only managed to watch the AU part this year because I got sick on Friday but I heard that the streams from other GS offices and Danny's house were just as good. So a big thank you to everybody who played games for an insane amount of time, talked in chat, and donated! FOR THE CHILDREN! <3

I actually have no idea what weapons I'll use and what kind of character I'll play as in Fallout 4. There are so many options and all of them seem incredibly fun!

Does anybody know if GameSpot is planning to participate in Extra Life this year?

@hystavito: I posted my last comment from my phone so maybe that CSRF token error has been fixed or it could be because I have ticked "Request desktop site" in Chrome (although there are no visual changes, it's still the mobile version of GameSpot). And the Upvote button seems to be working again!

@hystavito: I agree that most people who play mobile games would never pick up a controller or a mouse and keyboard to play a real game, however, I believe that the success of mobile gaming has negatively affected the entire games industry. Firstly, I doubt that we would see microtransactions in AAA games if they hadn't already been the norm in mobile games for several years. Secondly, I blame the rise of mobile gaming for the decline of handheld gaming. PS Vita is almost dead and I don't think we'll see another portable console from Sony :'( Nintendo's 3DS is doing better, but for how much longer? If mobile games were just as good as handheld games I would definitely play them, but they're not. Do you know a mobile game that offers console-quality gameplay and story and doesn't have microtransactions, energy bars etc.? I can only think of ports like GTA and KotOR. But they're not fun to play due to smartphones not having physical buttons and analog sticks. There is probably an accessory that adds buttons to your phone or tablet, but why bother for only a handful of games?
