ATI will always be behind such as AMD will be behind Intel (look at poor effort on battling QuadCore's with that Phenom thingy... shhh).. nVidia simply has greater cards, greater drivers, greater everything.... ok, so a 8800GT is a lil more expensive than a HD3870/HD2900XT ultra... well, it also performs better... just compare a 8600GT with a HD3870... now that's a good comparison... prize just got quite closer didn't it? Well, as long as ATI keeps launching medium-range cards cliaming to be High-end ones, they not match for nVidia... nVidia can even afford not to launch any DX10.1 support on their cards... they simply don't need that kind of competition to be hell better LOL
