Isn't the GAME itself the OMG I want that feature of Borderlands? Sounds kind of a lazy excuse.

Bad idea in my thoughts, in general, you can reach level 20 in like less then 4 hours, that's not alot of time to really know if you like the game, considering most of the games action is in it's end game content, raids, and dungeons. There is literally no reason NOT to allow players access to level 60 and all of the vanille wow content, it allows them to really find a character they like, see more what the game has to offer, without allowing them get alot of major games content. They are losing subs for a reason. The 10 million + they used to spam everyone has gone below it and lowering more and more for a reason.

@craigprime (Faceplam), That makes it better HOW? When in 10 seconds I can get it and play it for free on a phone smart phone, or for maybe 50 cents.

Plus I have seen many games for either free or 50 cents that are on the same level or even better versions of Zelda, Fully games mind you.

Let's give an example, not a Zelda game, BUT an example best tset up for this, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, selling for 15 bucks on PS3, now selling for PSP Vita for 40 bucks, can STILL be bought for less then a DOLLAR on a smart phone.Point is, if something is free, any price will always seem outrageous, and when free so easily accessable, it's a crime for people to do what they do.

I could go on cause I'm sure you will come up with some thing that tries to counter point, but in all honesty it's never a good comeback. Sure you can have morons who will buy a crappy NES cartridge of a game they can, play just as easily for free, but it's never a good example.5 bucks is still to much for something that can be easily played for free, at most this should be 1 bucks.

I got an idea on how to truly compete, I've seen many of these smart phone touch pads games, and it's not JUST because they have decent games, it's because they have decent games at a FAIR price, how about lowering your damn outrageous game cost, hell you have old school Zelda for NES on the 3ds market for 5 freaking bucks?

That's your damn problem right there.

"Journey is about story telling?"... What story? That's like saying Limbo was about story telling, neither had any real story, and it sure as HELL didn't tell anything n them. Journey was not innovative it was a huge step back in the world of gaming to just be pretty, and being less of a GAME, if THAT is the future of GAMES, "slighty" interactive ART, then I guess I'm done with games.

Isn't this mentality exactly what caused the downfall of BIG Games, the ones who developed Kingdoms of Amalur? Bloated over priced development cost, because you think your game is special, how about you focus on making it GOOD, and after the first one IF it sales well worry about a blockbuster sequel?

@songoku0206 But it doesn't HAVE to be lose some, it's that kind of mentality that allows this stupid shit to get through.

@dr_jashugan No, it's a outdated dinosauric method against piracy that game companies are to stupid to realize it just hurts sales, just doesn't work, and encourages piracy because of it.

Nintendo is one of the biggest morons behind it at this time, but what can you say about a group who believes digital games have the same value as physical copy games, which they are completely wrong about.. again.

@3kratos3 The cost of game development, is NOT that much higher, that's the general problem, the belief it is, and this belief is caused by moronic choices of the company in development cost. By forcing US to pay for their bloated development cost, because they had to pay top dollar for something that really only had to cost them a fraction they paid, but like a idiotic superstar, paying half a million for a ugly hand bag is means it's better then that 50 buck one that looks just as good, functions better, and is basically the same freaking thing.
