1º: if we se a lot of big tittles going to PS3 and to 360/PC from the companies you have to asume that they count the total sales in all systems i mean y we have like 10 M 360 ( maybe? ) and 3 million PS3 , and even PC X milion , so a multiplat game will sold more than a single game title even if cost more to port.

2º the wii is getting little love from major franchises and the ones coming to the system are coming in the form of less than spectacular releases tell me sheeps ,what do you think is the bigger FFXIII or FF:CC? , RE5 or RE:UC?

Well Nights was going to be a PS3/360 game but Sega changed their mind, expect others to follow. Just remember when the DS was released, now it is getting a ton of games. Developers want money and releasing their big name franchises on the Wii will get them that rather than releasing on the other 2.Nintendo_Man

but iam not so sure if that is what i want for my favorite form of entertaiment

let me put it this way , i love games and i love books , and movies but if you compare mainstream in games with mainstream in books we have many books that are poorly written like Paulo Cohelo , barbara Wood and the Auto-help ( i dont know the english word for Autoayuda ) in movies the same stuff, so in games we see a lot of poorly designed games for the Wii , none of them amaze me , or even cought my attention for more than just a few seconds

sorry but i think we need to redefine the concept of Console as a Toy , i mean with the DS and the PSP , you can even witouth the homebrew , navigate the web , listen to music , view pictures , chat , use it as an organizer , etc

even more so the 360 connected to a PC let you listen to music , view images , now get to MSN , watch DVDs , HD-dvd , etc , so are much more than a toy.

a toy by definition is more limited that that

so by that standards the wii es a console but not just a toy ( at least you can navigate but it doesnt do much more )

if you think 360 looks the same in SDtv or HDtv, you are blind , sorry but maybe you developed some visual damage trying to do damage control xD

you should try Dead Rising in a SDTV , or try to read the text in Earms , or even get the amount of detail in crackdown or Gears
