The original Fable had the best spells out of the entire franchise. Fable 3 looked the best. I don't remember much about Fable 2, so it would probably be the least impressive for me out of the three.
I couldn't agree with you more. I've been owning all three brands since the original X-box era, and Microsoft seems too fishy this time around. Plus, I have yet to see any compelling Kinect software so why force it on me?
Saints Row was definitely my favorite of the series. Hopefully, they will return back to their roots one day. Saints Row 2 was fun but way too many bugs that never got fixed, surprisingly. Saints Row 3 DLC was horrible, though I did like the gameplay.
Hmm...Rare is doing a good job of messing up their classic franchises. First Perfect Dark and now Killer Instincts. There are more things wrong than right with this new Killer Instincts. First and foremost, this new look is horrible. Why does the look of this game screams Street Fighter 4? For an X-Box One title, I thought it would easily surpass most (if not all) currently released fighting games in the visual department, but I guess that is asking too much. Killer Instincts had a legacy of being visually superior than its contemporaries, but Rare isn't interested in legacies these days. Secondly, the art design of each character has taken a dramatic change for the worst. Why does Jago look like he belongs in Prince of Persia? Thirdly, I would have thought that the animations in the longer combos wouldn't be so repetitive. I mean, this is a X-Box One game, right? And Finally, there doesn't seem to be anything innovative about this title. I personally believe that the whole fighting genre needs something other than eye-candy and destructible environment, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that is going to happen anytime soon. Oh Rare, your prized games are rare.
I remember when Sony said that every system after PS3 would be backwards compatible. Now, Microsoft appears to be backing off from their original X-Box One policy. My question is for how long? Both companies are thriving for console dominance at the expense of their own integrity.
I simply have not been a fan of the Kinect. I find none of their games compelling enough to purchase. I still believe that coming up with an innovative standard controller scheme is the way to go.
