@Roman217: I like where your going with this, so many opportunities. Unless you can get the white men to identify as transgender women then you'll probably have to focus on just Asian men since there is no such thing as discrimination against white men. Another possible angle is to get short persons involved and claim the basketball league is discriminating against the vertically challenged. With that approach you may even be able to include white men if they have dwarfism.
I just had a brilliant idea. Get a group of Asian men to say they are transgender women and then claim the basketball league is discriminating against vertically challenged transgender women of color. That's a slam dunk!
@soliaired50: That's rather presumptuous of you. Why does a game have to be interesting simply because women are involved. Women can make uninteresting games just like men and its presumption-nist to assume otherwise. (I'm being sarcastic just in case its not obvious).
@freman: With all due respect your friends observations are not reflective of the industry as a whole. There are very smart women in the industry that are very qualified just as there are some men in the industry that aren't qualified. on average there are more men in STEM then women and its because of biological preferences. There are exceptions but they are just that, exceptions.
@wilem: Sexism only goes one way. You can be sexists against women but there is no such thing as sexism against men in the world of progressive identity politics. You can even be a women and be sexists against women if you try and leave the feminist plantation.
@jim_peterson: There's no power to be gained from taking jobs in the mechanics work space not to mention it sound like too much dirty physical work for the progressive women and or their beta male supporters. They are going after tech and businesses industry jobs because those are office jobs. There are a very few efforts to get more women into the trades but they won't go anywhere because none of the radicals in that movement want to do that kind of hard physical/dirty labor.

@SecretPolice: They can't do that; identity politics and the oppression Olympics movement is about conquering existing "patriarchy" spaces. Creating anything NEW is completely opposite to their ideology not to mention they probably couldn't come up with any new ideas even if they wanted to. Its not about equality but power and there's no power to be gained from creating some thing new like there is from taking over existing spaces.
@jsprunk: Exactly b/c they don't have to actually go thru any kind of sex change they need only say they identify as a woman and if they are still passed over then the LGBTQ brigade will storm the beaches of gaming demanding equality. The only downside is it means they won't be able to identify as an attack helicopter but if it means a better job without having to be qualified for the job then that's a far trade.
Makes you wonder if Bonnie Ross was hired because she was the best person for the job or it was because shes a woman and so "These women, basically they open every door because we all want them, and there's so few of them, and they're amazingly talented," she said. "There's just not that many of them."
They can't ALL be amazingly talented so that means that some of the women in these fields that the ideological left believe do not employ enough women are there because of their gender and not because they are qualifiedforthe job let alone the best candidate. Thankfully in gaming the worst that can come form this is bad games; other fields like medicine however are a very different matter.
