Not sure I really count Mass Effect as an open world game per se.. for me it blended between the two perfectly with the actual action being mostly linear. That said I am stilll in love with Skyrim (with many mods ofc).. I too remember playing GTA3 for the first time.. I lasted about 40mins before I got bored.. I think it's mostly cos I don't find gridded American cities all that interesting, although I see GTA V isn't all city.. Just not my thing really.
And as for the show, Danny it is awesomee! You always seem to give that little bit more than others.. they feel just more personal and thats a really good thing!
@dannyodwyer Oh yeah Quake 3 arena is still the best shooter I have ever played.. first game I ever played online.. on the Dreamcast on a 56k modem lol I was really good at it cos you aimed with your left hand (Im elft handed). The fast paced run and gun is much more thing than all the tactical stuff of today. Think I saw you play Q3 on some video before and you were one shotting everyone with the ral gun.. gooood times.
I'm part of the 0.01% of ppl that like COD games (Infinity Ward ones anyway) but has never ever played or ever has any intention of playing multiplayer.. and that for me is where Titanfall just isn't of interest. Saying that I'll prob pick it up on PC once the insane EA pricing goes down a bit.
I've always been an xbox guy.. but this time most of my friends have chosen the PS4 and so I've had to do the same really.. but friends aside I just think at the end of the cycle the PS4 will be better off hardware wise than the Xbone.. all about ddr5.
Have to admit I am really fed up of zombie games, there are just soo soo many that are too similar. Now I know you could say the same thing about military fps games and in a sense thats also true. But the zombie games are sort of cornered in to a certain exact playstyle (ie survival/shooting) meaning theres not so much variation and thats why they all end up feeling the same (to me at least).
