Hmmmmm... this is very interesting. I don't like having multiple disc sets so good thing I don't have a 360.

http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/06/08/killzone-devs-say-well-shut-up-the-critics/

Ever since that over-ambitious trailer from E3 2005, the fellows in charge of Killzone have had to dodge tomatoes from everyone in the universe, it seems. Surely, no game could look that good, could it? Guerrila Games has issued a pretty telling statement regarding their showing of Killzone 2 at this year's E3: "hopefully it will all go brilliantly and we'll shut up even some of the most ardent critics." Well, that and their inner voice telling them "OH MY GOD WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!" So says Sebastian Downie.

We can't even imagine what they'll have to say at E3. It's going to be very difficult to satisfy fans and critics alike because they can't get over the fact that the graphics in the game can't possibly match that shown in the 2005 video, which served more as a tech demo than a hint at a game, like Final Fantasy VII. At least, not gameplay. What we were told to expect, however, was the announcement of online capabilities and some kind of public beta coming later this year. We'll see these guys at E3.

----------

This could mean that the CGI demo shown at 2005 E3 will be matched with their real-time presentation of Killzone 2 next month at E3.

I just skimmed, but are they trying to say they'll match their target render?

Doesn't matter if they had better graphics than Gears or any next gen game out there, if the game sucks overall, it won't be fun. Guerilla hasn't proven that they make quality games by GS's records.

Actually, it's 8.25/10. And I think it might hit an 8.5 here.

Sqaure-Enix has confirmed NO final fantasy for 360 (except last remenant)!!

So no more ps3 loosing FFXIII!!

http://www.n4g.com/xbox360/News-43552.aspx

SgtWhiskeyjack

What they did confirm, is what we know alreayd, that FOR NOW FF13 is only for PS3

There is no "for now". It says it right there. No plans for a FF game to the 360. A blank page. It's as clear as day. So suck it up and buy a PS3 to play it.

 Got to love these cows, especially this one telling people to suck it up.

The quote says: As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page.

It does not say "No Plans". So stop trying to make it say any more than it actually says :)

There is no plan to have a FF title on the 360.

Why can't fanboys just stop with this idiocy?

1st one didnt do to well so its hard to give them the benefit of the doubt. hard to say cause sony ended up supporting guerrilla financially and how they had 120 devs supposedly to work on it. imo i dont think kz2 will do well cause of kz1 and its suspicious how their keeping kz2 hush hush instead of bragging it to the world to show how the ps3 is "superior" console. earlier some1 mentioned that guerrilla were the same ppl that brought shellshock nam so that makes me doubt them even more. i guess we have to wait and see how well kz2 does. never know they can blow us away with AAA game if they do its a win-win situation for gamers and guerrilla.

Actually, there were only 40 devs working on Nam/Killzone.  They were also gaining experience and improving with each title and went on to make KZ:L.  They went from Nam - 5.4, to KZ - 6.9, to KZ:L - 8.3, improving in storyline, gameplay, and overall optimization with each game (debugging, getting rid of glitches, etc.). They were very inexperienced at first, as most new dev teams are.  However, 5.4 > 6.9 > 8.3 is a nice trend, and in the GS review for KZ:L they said they would've rated it even higher if only it had had network play.

It wasn't until AFTER Sony bought Guerilla (a little less then a year before KZ:L was released) and put them to work on KZ2 that they gave them a massive budget and bumped the size of the team up to ~130 devs (actually, it only got up to 130 recently, but had been gradually building up to that point for a while now).  The money and manpower that Sony has supplied Guerilla with makes them a whole new dev team, and considering that Sony 1st party games are always excellent, I have high hopes for this game. The budget for the game had surpassed $20 mil. as far back as January, so it's even larger now.

I think KZ 2 will at least get AA.

Big budget game, 130 developers and yet you predict AA...?

Well, I am not afraid. This game will reach high AAA score.
