okay so every time i turn it on, it tries to install the update; but still get the error message. so i called for support and they told me to send it in!(which i don't want to do) Has anyone every sent in their ps3 and could tell me how fast they got it back and how well the job was done? also was everything still on your hard drive or was is erased like new?Shadow4020
Never sent my PS3 in because of a update issue but I have sent my PS3 in because it was freezing up all the time and other issues. They expect you to backup all your stuff and format the HDD because they will end up doing it anyways and it will save them time. I ended up with a different PS3 than the one I sent in.
Haven't downloaded any but I have rented some movies :D. One thing I do like about it is that you can watch the movie continuously while it's downloading without it stopping to buff or anything!
It is a pain in the ass to have to continuously text someone when trying to get a match together whenever you should just be able to instantly voice chat with anyone on your friends list. This is yet another feature that should have been there from day one but yet is still not even an option.
CODWAW is more difficult, more blood/violence, and bigger explosions than COD4. Also COD4 does not have co-op and you cannot play the full story mode in co-op in CODWAW you can only select the mission first then play it. COD4's single player is shorter than CODWAW and COD4 does not have trophy support. But as far as the fun factor goes they are both about equal imo.
Games are not being added as often as they should be. There should be new PS1 games added every week! This is just pathetic to see the very limited selection of games available to download when we all know there are alot of great PS1 games.
The whole Playstation Store is kind of a let down because it does not update with new stuff to buy and download as much as it should. A few demos, maybe one new downloadable game if were lucky and some old movies a new release here and there added every week and thats it. Sony needs to get their asses in gear and start releasing more content for the Playstation Store period!!!!!!!
