Dude.. buy the OPTOMA HD70.($950) Or there is a Mitsubishi that is also 720p. Projectors are getting smaller & smaller / brighter and brigther, cheaper and cheaper. 950 may not be "cheap" but compared to say a year or two ago.. you were looking at $2500 for one. The only Con is Light control & Bulb life. (so i've heard, I have yet to burn through a bulb) I upgraded from that one. But its good if you can set it up.. even as an alternative to a regular tv for day viewing.

With.. HALFLIFE/Counter Strike/Day of Defeat/Portal.. Bioshock... GTR2... Rfactor.. Battle Field2... and please put your console flight sims away, they may get hurt.

280 doesn't include an HD-DVD player as well.. which is key to having the ps3. If someone is playing it downstairs and I dont feel like playing w/them, I can watch movies upstairs.. Also the 360 is a bit loud... I leave my ps3 on all day to do the folding at home bit. You could definitely hear it over games/movies its a smaller room.

How come the demo don't look like this? The lighting in these screens have been juiced up.Cubs360

I take it you havent played the demo? Which one is simulation? The short one, or the long one?

Look at the reflections of the track in the Lexus.. God that looks great. This game is amazing.

Maybe try adjusting your tv? Works fine on my 1080p projector.

I've got a home theater setup for movies/ps3. Hooked up through a 1080p Projector & NHT 7.1 setup. Its hard to play shooters on it because its a 116 inch throw. Plus I hate when my gf is playing Warhawk, and I want to play something else.

We have a plasma in another room. Just going to use that as the alternate room. I want to do a seat / steering rig for Gran Turismo as well. Couldn't do that in the theater, I already have 8 fixed stadium seats..and my head would more than likely block the picture if I scaled the image down. and sat in front of it.

HDMI splitters cause lag for the audio. (its over 20 feet through the walls monoprice.com) The wireless controllers work fine, but then again.. thre is the using the ps3 at the same time as someone else...

Ratchet & Uncharted are one of the reasons I want to get a separate one. So I can play these, and she can do her stupid movies/games.
