Back in the day of like N64 especially, I remember how detailed the manuel would and I did enjoy reading them. I still enjoy reading them for particular games like Halo 3 and Gears of War. It disappoints me that some games do not really make manuels any more. More companies dont want to make the effort to create a comprehensive book because they dont think anyone looks at them. Most manuels now-a-days only have information on where to call if it is broken or how to save the game and frankly it is a shame.

I would have to say GRAW 2. It was a vast disappointment in terms of multiplayer because all everyone did was camp. The game design was TOO good because you couldnt see anyone and the maps were far too large. Especially if you were a fan of LMS, it would get very frustrating at times.

Another possible candidate was Ninja Gaiden 2 because at certain points the game locks up and freezes for everyone since they had a new update. Why make an update that makes a game unplayable?

XBLA: Battlezone or Undertow. both equally pointless and unplayable.

I'll be honest I havent tried the new one yet but I was disappointed a little bit when they decided to move in a newer direction. I like the old system of collecting and searching for things. I will still give the new title a shot.

It is interesting how the party chat had almost the same release date as Gears of War 2.

Gears without the blood would take a lot of the satisfaction out of the executions and headshots, thats for sure.

There is no way that Kane & Lynch comes any where close to Gears of War 2. There is no way. That game was utterly unplayable on so many levels. While I do agree that there are some serious flaws that require fixing, the game is not unplayable. There is no question that the type of gameplay has changed in Gears 2, mainly in the fact that you cannot just charge into places. You have to be more patient. The game is not just run around and try to "two-piece" people anymore or catch someone with a chainsaw. BTW there is only one level that you can really camp on and that is Blood Drive and even then not really because you can throw grenades in through the windows. Try fighting from far away and being more patient. If you can't or don't want to and you don't like it, there are a lot of other video games out there, or at least that's what I hear. Don't tear down the game because it's not line for line the same as Gears of War.
