And I dont even mean play, if I leave it on for that amount of time...like dling content and playing game afterwards. How can 360 be a HD-DVD player when a 3 hour movie will kill it. I regret getting X360 so early..total waste.
Is it because Halo 3 looks like Halo 2 so much? Or vice versa?
You know Halo 3 isn't next-gen graphics when its compared repeatedly to last generation Halo. Even the thought of comparing the 2 games implies Halo 3 is hardly kicking the next-gen graphics barrier.
So accept it Halo 3 does not have good graphics. I seen better graphics on PC games 2 years ago (aka Half-Life 2).
After discovering N4G it really is the only gaming site I ever need...compare that to GS news, Gamespot sucks. Not only that I can tell GS is catering to MS and 360 cause they know that need to keep MS fanboys happy. Without them, GS will shrivel an lose a large majority of its customers...erratic American MS fanboys.
Even the recent Halo 3 is proving GS tries to make 360 gamers happy. Halo 3 will get a 9.0+ here I guarantee it..GS doesn't care about scoring games correctly anymore..like any gaming site..GS is in desperate need to keep income and userbase flow. If Halo 3 flopped here, MS fanboys will run off somewhere else.

The difference look like what one would expect from a pc game with low settings to medium settings..not much at all. Just enable a couple of graphics features, enhance res and thats it. Thats the difference between Forza and Forza 2.
OMG why would anyone get Forza 2 when it plays the SAME way as Forza. Even the cars match up. The graphics are exactly what one would expect from Xbox1.5
Why can't MS release the elite when they use 65nm process or whatever. Still same heating problems, noise problems, now hardddrive transfer problems. Boy the lemmings get kicked in the face by MS so many times and they don't even know it.

Well i do agree wth your post. i wish they would of done what Sony did with the wifi and wired option. instead of leaving out wifi and just please the wired consumers. You do know that you can still add WIFI, and still be cheaper than a PS3. It's just optional so you can choose to get it or not. gnutux

Well HDMI 1.3 is for TrueHD sound and some higher sound format PS3 is capable of. HDMI 1.2 for Elite, well lets just say 360 doesn't have the sound capabilities of PS3..can you say 5.1 LOL.

Look at WOW beta, WOW: Burning crusade beta, Warcraft 3 beta, etc... Halo 3 will look like that...maybe a tweak here an there but thats it ok..ACCEPT that and live with it.
Halo is popular cause of multiplayer so Bungie could care less about grafix...FACT. Besides after the failure of a sequal that is Halo 2, Bungie haven't hired any great new talent to the studio..so they are stuck with their dated graphics engine.
