When the first Xbox came out, It was like the best Christmas gift I ever got. Ever since I was their loyal customer for over 10 years? And now MS wants to charge us for used games, monitor us via Kinect 2.0, and isn't even game focused? That totally puts me off. I'll probably end up buying Sony's PS4 instead. If not, I'll stick to my PC. I don't want the Xbox One till they scrap those appalling features. Microsoft just leveled up their greed by 20 levels. Now they can record us whenever possible. Those disgusting bastards.
Yes, but nobody wants anymore mediocre games. The fan base wants high quality Star Wars games everyone's been wanting. No more legos, no Kinect, just triple A titles. Jedi Knight series, KOTOR 3, BATTLEFRONT III and so on...
Pachter is a load of bullshit. The fan base for Star Wars is as large as ever but due to Lucasarts not listening to it's fans, Star Wars games have been poor. We're just dormant till you throw something worthwhile at us. What a developer needs to do is listen to the audience.
Lucasarts: Oh, everyone wants KOTOR 3, if we take our time and effort to make an excellent sequel, it will be a hit and get GOTY.
In reality, they didn't care. I hope Disney and "EA" understand what it should take to make a great Star Wars game and listen to us.
This is what should be done. The Old Republic's story should be treated as a "What if scenario" or an "alternate timeline where events went down Path A" BUT! KOTOR 3 went down Path B, the canon storyline of what really happened, which can lead to KOTOR 4 and 5, and maybe 6. If EA chooses to do this, we can get what we all want. If they do it right, listen and take their time developing the game's plot, characters, voice overs, gameplay, graphics, ect...
1. Well that's your opinion you didn't like wolfstein. It doesn't make it fact for everyone cause you say so.
2. First Person Shooter COD and FPS Wolfstein are two different games that can't be compared. Call of Duty is a modern army shooter, Wolfstein isn't. Wolfstein may be an FPS but it doesn't play and feel like COD. It has it's own type of gameplay.
3. Video games don't have to be made COD like to compete or just be better than COD itself. Clearly you don't understand that concept. All games are made in their own way if sometimes borrowing some ideas from other games. Take Battlefield 3. It's an FPS and it succeeded by not playing like call of duty, it had it's own gameplay and features separating it from COD. So it didn't need to be COD like to be better.
On another note, people aren't just buying into FPS Genre video games cause of Call of Duty. There is also Halo, Killzone, Bioshock, Battlefield, Gears of War just to name a few. Those games help keep the FPS Genre interesting and not getting too dull in the video game market. Stop being narrow minded please.

I can't help myself but this isn't 4J Studios' sandbox game. It was made by Mojang. 4J Studios only helped to port it and make it work on the Xbox 360 with some gameplay tweaks here and there but it isn't their sandbox game. Just wanted to get it off my chest.
I have always had the xbox 360 as my main console. When Microsoft first launched their original xbox in 2001, I was hooked and trusted them for the fair service they provided at a price of course but never thought they would, if it's true, think only of themselves and not their customers. I like all the consoles and damn wish I could afford a PS3 but Microsoft is disgusting me. If these rumors stay true, I'm getting a PS4 instead of the Xbox 720. I won't be treated like garbage and I know everyone else who is aware of this will probably do the same.
