I'll always remember Leeroy Jenkins because I was playing a (lolret) paladin at the time. I never charged into a dungeon recklessly but I never lived down the time me and a friend came under attack on a boat while he was AFK and I did indeed bubble-hearth to my eternal shame.
Also that is a handsome murloc you've got there and Jess is kind of cute too.
"Can you blame politicians for seeing what these games contain and trying to construct a legal barrier to shield minors from such content?"
It's a parent's job to control what their kids play and watch, not a politician's. Is shooting an alien or human in a video game too violent? Is dropping a cartoon anvil on a coyote's head too violent? It's a matter of opinion.
"Can you blame them for condemning an entire industry when many of the most popular games contain such remorseless combat?"
Yes.
Also, I think it's telling that they say how concerned they are about violence in video games because a guy who committed a horrible crime supposedly played them, yet I'm here reading articles about American drone strikes in several countries around the world, civilians as collateral damage, children being killed... they don't appear too concerned about that.
@Gravity_Slave @VR_Verdugo You seem to be oblivious of it yourself. Anyway, plenty of people have written about the Warfighter issue. You can look it up if you like, otherwise get bent.
