@rem234 Yeah I agree, it's really annoying. I also find that bright, floaty thing in the back of her neck to be distracting.

They perhaps should have done like in Dead Space where the HUD elements are built into the suit.

I'll always remember Leeroy Jenkins because I was playing a (lolret) paladin at the time. I never charged into a dungeon recklessly but I never lived down the time me and a friend came under attack on a boat while he was AFK and I did indeed bubble-hearth to my eternal shame.

Also that is a handsome murloc you've got there and Jess is kind of cute too.

"Can you blame politicians for seeing what these games contain and trying to construct a legal barrier to shield minors from such content?"

It's a parent's job to control what their kids play and watch, not a politician's. Is shooting an alien or human in a video game too violent? Is dropping a cartoon anvil on a coyote's head too violent? It's a matter of opinion.

"Can you blame them for condemning an entire industry when many of the most popular games contain such remorseless combat?"

Yes.

Also, I think it's telling that they say how concerned they are about violence in video games because a guy who committed a horrible crime supposedly played them, yet I'm here reading articles about American drone strikes in several countries around the world, civilians as collateral damage, children being killed... they don't appear too concerned about that.

@Gravity_Slave @VR_Verdugo You seem to be oblivious of it yourself. Anyway, plenty of people have written about the Warfighter issue. You can look it up if you like, otherwise get bent.

I'm glad Relic survived. They've made some great games, hope to see more 40k.

Quiet down? A hearty F U to Leland Yee!

A politician attempting to lecture anyone about credibility or lust of money or self interest is the most ridiculous thing I've read in a while.

If Mr. Yee is so offended by "lust for violence" perhaps he should take a peek at American foreign policy.

"if he didn't have access to a weapon that he saw in video games"

Or in movies, or in the hands of our militarized police forces. Why fixate on video games?

"that gave him a false sense of courage about what he could do that day"

I'm impressed. Not only can Senator Murphy read minds, he can read a dead man's mind at that.

From what I've read, Warfighter is blatant propaganda. Not surprised a country would ban it.
