In case it answers your question, the signature I see for you at the moment is a Fuse beta signature. If you're thinking there is a delay, it would probably help to be more specific; how long a time - minutes, hours, days? Even when signatures have worked "well" in the past a delay of a few minutes was about as quick as it ever got. Remember also to clear your browser cache if you're going to do any checking.

It has been about a week. I cleared my cache and it is still the same.

Right on, I love it! His work reminds me of some of the early black metal cover art.

I certainly don't have an inherent problem with "dark art". But seriously...dark should sort of serve some overall purpose other than being dark for the sake of being dark. It's really easy to sort of gt pigeonholed into being "that guy who does dark ****", and then it almost looks like a cheap gimmick.

MrGeezer
That is very true. I don't ever like something just because it is "dark". I just used that term for the sake of not getting into semantics and people would generally know what kind of stuff I am referring to. I definitely agree with you though.

Hans Bellmar is an incredibly interesting artist I highly recommend. I like Psyclon Nine, even met Ner0 on their last tour. Nice guy that got mixed up in too many drugs.

Right on, Nero is definitely a very creative individual in many different ways. I hung out with John and Abbey from P9 at a club here in Austin and they were talking about how bad Nero had gotten with the pills and everything (This was right after P9 went on hiatus). Apparently Nero is doing a lot better however and is staying clean, so hopefully they can bring the music back soon. I personally know how the Rock N' Roll lifestyle can consume your morals very quickly however, so I will definitely understand if he calls it quits.

I have always found that generally, the more dark/heavy/twisted/etc. form of any kind of artful expression (Music, movies, paintings, etc.) tend to be more interesting and complex. I am always looking for a new obsession so I would like to know what people of "like-mind" are into.

For me personally:

Music: Black Metal (Burzum, Emperor, Zyklon), Industrial (Skinny Puppy, Psyclon Nine, Wumpscut), Darkstep (Darker/heavier Drum N' Bass) (Noisia, Spor, Current Value), SOME Death Metal (Hypocrisy, Behemoth, Bloodbath), and then there is a band that is in a genre all of their own The Berzerker

Movies: Anything that mixes Sci-Fi and Horror (Event Horizon, Pandorum, The Thing)

Artist: The only artist I have ever come across that incorporates the styles and subject matter that I like is H.R. Giger. I would LOVE somebody to recommend another artist that they think I would like.

[QUOTE="VEXX_Z3R0"][QUOTE="TailBlood"]

One of the biggest misconceptions is that people believe that any type of game that looks "cool" can make an awesome film. Little do we realize that due to video game pedegrees studios just aren't going to cash in 200 million for a video game film. The games that people want (genericly) Halo, God of war, Gears etc. Aren't going to cost 2 bucks to make in order to be faithful. Count that with the Actors, Screenwriter, etc and it's a big gamble. It's possible and will happen, but it will be hard to be of quality. Sort of the same as the Transformer films.

In my humble opinion, in order to make the perfect video game film. Baby steps, is to combine the best of video game literacy and visual design. The biggest example of this is: Grim Fandango. Script would be solid, and the director could work selling the atmosphere of it's world. Combine that with make-up and Cosume. You could have a unique experience.

TailBlood

I never thought about this reality, that makes a lot of sense. I pay attention to visuals a lot in movies, so I never thought about the script, etc. being hard to pull off. Word Dude.

It's a big reality. I think video games need to prove themselves in this area before jumping into the big budget films.

Another game that would do very well is Read Dead Redemption. If tweaked a bit, I believe the ending could help extremely well with both film buffs and mainstream audiences.

Would you say that Rockstar releases in general would do good as films? I am not an expert on their games because I am not into the whole "Cops N' Robbers" theme, but it seems like they play out like films in a way.
