It looks exactly like FC3 but more polished which I think is one of the greatest games of the last gen. So I know I'll love it. And I'm not you're buddy, friend..
Ok honestly I'm done with Gamespot. They're getting progressively worse when reviewing games. I always hated Van ord but I know FC4 is at least an 8.5 I completely understand all the well deserved loathing for Ubisoft, but the far cry series isn't AC or even Watchdogs. I feel like more reviews are gonna be unnecessarily tough on FC4 because of Ubisofts past lies and unfinished games. But whatever I'll still have a blast with it regardless of these biased reviews.
I don't play madden even though I'm a football nut. But from an outsider looking in can't you just copy and paste the same review from the previous madden the year before?
Uuuhh no, not if understand how business works. You gotta spend money to make money. There's too many big titles coming out Q3,Q4 so why not put a little more marketing into it and release it Q1or Q2 2015 when there's less going on.
I would bet good money it's being delayed not because of development issues or needs more work. They thought it would make a much larger splash, and it was good reaction but not great. So they they pushed it back to start an even more rigorous marketing campaign.
To me RDR and Fallout 3 were technical and creative masterpieces. And its games like that that should be in the same category as The Godfather, Taxi driver and pulp fiction as works of art that are asthetically and historically significant. But not every game should be held to the same standards. Just Cause 2 and Saints Row 2 are easily one of the most fun games I've ever played. Why? Because they put an emphasis on having fun and giving the player a sense of absolute freedom and not taking itself seriously. So I guess what I'm trying to say is without the Michael Bay's we couldn't appreciate a Scorese, Coen bros or Kubik.
