Unless you like ghost town MMO's the selection isnt to big.

1. WoW - a true mmo with huge community and playerbase.

2. City of Heroes - Great casual MMO (and not a typical orc & elf rpg)

3. EverQuest 2 - Didt have a good start but sharpen up nicely

The first MMOFPS i think was World War 2 Online - it still going, but the graphics are horrible nowdays.

I had my best gameing moments in PlanetSide, in the first week with massive battles. quite awesome because you know every single of them is a human player.
