would be 10 if not for save system, i give it a 9

Crucifier
The save system is meant to make it a little more difficult I believe...I mean you cant just stand in the middle of a mall with walking zombies and meditate...hoping your safe? Make it back to base!

[QUOTE="TuneSeeker"][QUOTE="Kev_Unreal"]ummmmmm who care about reviews?topcatyo

Five bucks says that if you had good games on launch you'd be saying "NU UH OUR GAMES GOT GOOD REVIEWS TOO"

And Xbox fanboys would say reviews don't matter if they didn't have AAA games.

I still don't understand why people are suprised by fanboy hypocrasy.

Good point

Gears single player is way too short. You could probably pick up oblivion for 30 and fear would be the best bet.

Yeah right. Probably 35-40

Good Choice. My vote lies on Lockout - Halo 2.

[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"]I just talked about lag in another thread, here goes so everyone will get it, not being rude but some people just dont accept host advantage. Host has 0 ping, he is the host and therefore is the server, his actions will register on the server instantly............because he is the server, everyone else will have distance lag, lag is determined by, distance, host and internet connection speed. Everyone else has to send their information to the host, meaning there will be delay from them.....................to the server, meaning lag, there is no such thing as no lag unless you are host or on lan, please dont say you dont lag online because that is 100% not true(unless host as stated), so the host will be a bit faster, his shots will land instantly and his actions are pefectly on time, everyone else on the other hand will have a slight delay meaning there shots and other actions will not be detected on time, therefore the host gets a matrix style advantage as if everyone is slightly back in time, and that is host advantage............V4LENT1NE

I think its more than that. I have confirmed numerous times that a host has shot me down from far with the shotgun with one shot. I have asked, and they confirm they only shot once. They also confirm that I shot them numerous times from close with the shotgun, and they did not die. They say,"yeah dude, that was nuts. You shot me right in the face and I didn't die". So Lag is a problem, but I think they actually get a power advantage as well.

Nope, on your screen it looks like you are hitting them in the face, but on there screen you will have barely touched them, because the shot will have taken time to register giving them time to get away. And the being close thing is also very simple, again thank the lag, notice that sometimes when you down someone they lag into a closer position than when you killed them? Thats because on there screen they were much closer to you but the lag is causing distance due to slow registration, the host has no peformance advantage, just connection advantage. And thats why Gears is spoiled by lag.........

Well unless they create a way to host hundreds of thousands of gears games on a giant server...there will always be host advantage. Thats any game on the 360.

I was in a topic before that addressed how this game is missing over 80 of the Worms weapons, how you can only control 1/2 as many worms as the other titles but then it hit me.

the game is called Worms HD... I think it's just a HD version of the original game...that's why it feels so gimped. I can honestly say that the original is the only worms game i don't own (besides some of the crappy 3d ones)  so i don't know how true this is

smerlus
Thats probably true. Maybe they will come out with other worms games later. *crosses fingers*
