I just got a new number and I wanna text my friend some funny stuff before he knows it's me will he be able to see if it's me when I text him without my number in his phone?

the thing is it's worked normally for several months with no dc's. and i've found that the only time my internet disconnects is when im playing a game like WoW or counter strike or something. i can be browsing the web for hours with no disconnects.

i've been recently having a problem with my internet disconnecting lately. It's mostly noticable while playing games. every 5 to 30 minutes, i'll disconnect from whatever game i'm in and my internet will reconnect in about 15-30 seconds, sometimes instantly. This just started happening out of the blue about 5 days ago and i really need help with it becuase it's making all of my online games unplayable.

edit: i'm pretty sure it's not my wireless router because it's disconnecting my games on my laptop and my desktop that's wired to the modem.
