You would think that when not 1 single person is backing up your argument......it might tell you something, my PC is right across from my big TV which I just have to connect with an HDMI cable, big picture allows me to basically play my PC and enjoy it like a console by navigating it with a 360 controller in the comfort of my relaxing recliner chair, which before was not possible, now on PC not only can you get the best graphics but you can also get that relaxing console like experience that people do find as an advantage, How is this not a good thing????[QUOTE="Totalgym9000"][QUOTE="amaneuvering"]
You grasp whatever the f'k you want.
I know a pile of pointless gimmicky crap for complete nerds and nothing more when I see it.
This could have actually been something special.
It's not.
You can believe whatever it is you want to imagine to be the truth.

There is a TINY percentage of people who have their PCs connected to their TVs.
This is created for a tiny niche of nerds and it doesn't really improve the experience they are going to have for the most part anyway because if they already have their PCs connected to their TVs then they've already been playing the likes of Steam on their PC for ages now anyway, with their mouse and keyboards which will also obviously be attached too and which already offer a faster, smoother and more intuitive navigation experience.
This, as it turns out, is just a pointless gimmick for a tiny minority of geeks.
You really like the throw the word geeks and nerds around, PC gaming isn't just for these "nerds" your talking about, how about the people that just got totally sick of how long this generation has lasted and wanted an upgrade.............I love my console gaming but I was fed up with playing 7 year old dated crap, so this new update for me personally is freaking awesome, as my PC now feels like a seamless console experience instead of being cramped over a mouse and keyboard. We get that you don't like BPM but you need to grasp that others do.[QUOTE="clyde46"][QUOTE="amaneuvering"]
People like you need a LOT more than evidence to help you "get it".
Trust me on that.
You can hapily shover that debate up your ***.

Surely even someone like your of limited cognitive processing can comprehend that.[QUOTE="clyde46"]
[QUOTE="amaneuvering"] I'm talking about getting it ON MY TV. Sure, I can run it on my PC that's stuck in the corner of my room but that doesn't change anything. How do I actually get it to run on my TV that's sitting in the center or my living room in front of my nice comfy sofa? That's the whole point selling point of this right, to be able to play it on my big TV from the comfort of my sofa, no?amaneuvering
So, the only way to get Steam in my f'n living room on my TV is to connect my PC directly? If I had my PC connected to my f'm TV I'd already be playing it on my f'n TV in the first place. How is this any use to anyone that doesn't have their PC connected directly to their TV? Which for the record will be an absolutely miniscule number of people.
Surely someone like you can comprehend that I don't have my PC connected to my TV or I wouldn't have asked the question in the first place.
WTF ummm wow.So my complaint with PC gaming was it was never a seemless relaxing console like experience, that was always why the console was still my number 1 choice, but after I was prompted to restart steam I noticed a icon in the top right hand corner called big picture, once you click that it bascially turned steam into a TV/console like OS that is fully navagational with a 360 controller.
Steam was already great but this just made my pc into the console I have always wanted :)
