Well, I would like to see the Chimera virus infect the Locust to create a truly terrifying hybrid.

My XBox RRod'd once. They sent me a new system and the new system has worked like a charm ever since. Ironically, it is now my TV that broke. So I'm stuck using this old vacuum tube thing while my nice Samsung HDtv is in the shop. Which sucks, becuase everything is so dark in Gears of War 2 that I can barely see a thing and end up groping around blindly when the lights go down. I'm not even going to play Dead Space until I get my TV fixed.

Well anything is possible with magic, I guess...Or mabye this is just bad game design.

No, this is terrible game design and it removes any urge I might have had to play this game. This is a huge let down for me. I played the original Fable and it was an underappreciated gem, and it pains me to see the sequel fail to live up to the original on so many levels.

Fable failed to live up to the hype, but was quite a fun game nontheless, especialyl the standalone expansion. Still Monlyneux is quite wrong. We're still here Pete!

For the same reason I buy books. For the sense of immersion and a story that I feel I am contributing to. This is why I prefer western rpgs to JRPGs, but that is a discussion for another thread.

As a rule, I try to beat any games I own before I rush out and buy any new ones. In fact, I think the only game in my library that I have never beated is Neverwinter Nights 1. I just couldn't get past the last boss, but that was partly my fault for making some glaringly bad choices in character creation.

The fighting genre has really fallen by the wayside recently. It's just not as popular as it once was. However, many good fighting games have been released in recent years. Such as Soul Calibur VI and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. I think there's still hope for fighters in the future.

I had completely forgotten about that. Ghost Recon 1 does involve a Russian invasion of Georgia, and a very similar political climate in Moscow.

Creepy.

I adore Yahtzee Crowshaw. His reviews are very funny and can offer some good insights into a game. For example, I played The Witcher and loved the crap out of it. I thought Yahtzee may have judged the game a bit harashly, but all the points he raised were valid complaints. All in all, Yahtzee's reveiws are very clever and entertianing, even if he can be rather harsh at times.
