the easiest way would be to get a router (perhaps wireless) so you can share your internet connection in your house across multiple computers and consoles, check ebuyer.com, i got mines there for £20

if you already have a router sitting next to you computer upstairs then you just need a standard cat5 ethernet cable to connect your new pc to it

hope this helps :)

what you need to do is acess the wireless router control panel (assuming this is what you have), to find this out type 'cmd' from the run command in windows (again assuming you are on a windows computer) in the command prompt type 'ipconfig' and look for your default gateway (usually 192.168.0.1), should point out do this from a computer connected to the wireless network you are trying to connect your wii to

now type this address into your web browser (e.g. firefox/IE) and should take you to our wireless control panel where you can find and change the wireless settings including the passwords etc,

sometimes it looks for a username and password to access the wireless control panel, try using 'admin' and 'password' or 'admin' and 'admin'

hope this helps :)
