No because Nirvana and Led Zeppelin are good.

Lady Gaga's music is the best of the worst.

U2 isn't really in the same league as inFamous and AC2 for climbing, there's only very specific areas for climbing.

AC2 climbing was very fluid but it was a bit slow and awkward at times.

For me inFamous's climbing is the best because it's fast, has a good flow, especially combined with the gliding and grinding but the main reason I think it's better is it requires you to be more active with the controls whereas with AC2 you mostly just hold down the buttons.

X-men Origins: Wolverine and Couples Retreat are probably the two worst movies I've seen recently.

I'm a New Zealander and we have single taps as well, all the taps in my house are single ones so you must of just stayed in older places and the one lane bridges are only in country areas and most are very short.

You can get your learner drivers license when your 15 which means you have to have someone who has had they're full license for two years or more with you and you can buy booze when your 18.

If I'm playing multi-player I might listen to the HotSpot or play music and if I've been sitting around to much I'll get in a quick workout during lobbies and load times otherwise I prefer to experience the game to the full especially with the single-player, with which I don't want any distractions, unless I'm just messing around.

You can filter the games on this site, either in the reviews or all games section, select PC and one of the genres people have been suggesting like platformer, simulation, virtual life (Sims) and maybe racing and adventure.

GameSpot should really add a kid friendly option to that list.

Thanks, but I don't think that applies to Steam. Steam includes the developer's website link and developers are the ones controlling the price - Valve has said that they asked all publishers and developers if they want to lower the price for the holiday sale and by how much. I also remember that the guy who created Braid changed the Steam price due to fan outcry (from $20 to $15, I believe).

Yeah Steam is probably one of the exceptions since Valve has always been pretty community orientated and they probably understand it's to their advantage to support the developers who will then in turn support their service.

[QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"]From what I understand typical royalty rates for the console makers are around 30% or so, which isn't so bad. But like I said above for XBLA and PSN a publisher is still usually involved, so who knows what happens there. If you want to put a game on XBLIG you don't need a publisher at all so the 70% is all yours, but it's pretty hard to make your game stand out on that service since there's so much crap.UpInFlames

Do you know anything about PC digital retailers such as Steam, Direct2Drive or Impulse? What's the deal there? I assume the situation is better, but I don't have any real information.

I have heard that Garry Newman (of Garry's Mod fame) defended Valve after Gearbox claimed that Steam was exploiting indie devs. He also said that he knows that Introversion would've gone under if it weren't for Steam. I also can't imagine that Stardock would strongarm indie devs.
