@Tekcor It does not require 8GB of free space. The article is wrong. You need a 8GB usb stick or HDD, to cache data. Basically they are taking the HDD requirement from the previous halo co-op and applying it to MP. If you read the page from Xbox.comm it never says anything about free space or install. "At a minimum, you’ll need at least an 8GB USB Flash Drive or an Xbox 360 Hard Drive to play Multiplayer mode in Halo 4. For an optimal experience playing with an Xbox 360 Hard Drive is highly recommended"
Don't know why everybody is getting this wrong. There is NO MANDATORY INSTALL FOR MP. The basically require you to have 8GB drive or HDD to cache data. So it wouldn't matter if you had 10MB left on your 20GB HDD, this wouldn't effect you.
