All the immature hate, random insults and non-intelligent answers going on within these comment sections make me realize just how low humanity has sunken.
That happens to be your opinion, certainly. But not everybody shares the same views. DNF was in the eyes of many a colossal disappointment void of any fun. Yet people still put faith in those teams, don't they? Bioware fucked up with Mass Effect 3 multiple times. lots of studios fucked up with DNF - but most people deserve a second chance. Denis is not the sole reason responsible for everything that went wrong, and it has been years since then. I rather give him a second chance then see more Call of Duty bullshit get shoved into the tossbag faces of the young masses for millions of dollars every single year.
A matter of opinions really. Many people for example thought that L4D2 came out to early, it hadn't yet been that long ever since the first of that series. But tons of people bought it anyway. The difference is that the game was still good, had lots of improvements over the first and etc. Combine that with Valve's good reputation and you got a sorta f*ck up that history simply forgot since the goods outweighed the negatives by a whole lot.
And perhaps if you paid attention you would know that they pretty much fired the guy when it came out. Do you think a company would willingly have such a guy work for them? He kept it a secret for obvious reasons - and got what he deserved when it came out. Don't get hung up on something like this and interpret it the wrong way.
Excuse me, I am german and I would hardly blame all americans if one american group would speak negatively about for example steam. "German users huh..." Yes indeed, human beings just like any other ;)
