I think OP is talking about the chase mission, where you have to run after Hickey and tackle him but not kill him. I believe one of the requirements is "Do not tackle/shove anyone." This one was actually quite the pain in the ass the first time I did it but I honestly didn't have any trouble tackling him. I just remember following him left into the alley, then when he turned right, I went straight. After some running, I came up directly in front of him and tackled (holding R1 and pressing circle). If that's not working for you, I also remember watching a video where Connor climbs up the side of a building slightly and tackles Hickey from above. Obviously, you'll have to find a way to come up in front of Hickey like I did. I hope that helps.

XrossMediaBar (Cross Media Bar). Sony's user interface on the PS3 and the PSP. They said In-Game XMB which means you can bring up the XMB while you're playing a game. With it, you can log back into PSN if you get disconnected, you can listen to music in-game and some other stuff.

I'm sure you've already read everywhere that the AI is incredibly adaptive in the game, meaning if you do the same move or play over and over, the opposing team will adapt and shut you down... so you have to change up your plays, take one-timers from the point or dump behind the net and pass up front for a goal, you know... swtich things up. Also, in this game, you have to take serious control of your defencemen. Don't pinch too much or you will get caught. If you're attacking and all of a sudden lose the puck, switch your player to a defenceman and start skating backwards. At the lower difficulties, you can go for the big hit pretty much every time but that becomes impossible when you're playing the higher difficulties. Keep at it and you'll get it... but the most important thing is switch up your plays.

NHL 08 by a long shot... this year, EA really beat out 2K for the hockey market. It really doesn't get any more real than NHL 08. Having said that, the game won't change your mind about hockey games in general. If you haven't enjoyed hockey games in the past, EA or 2K, this game won't convert you... but if you really do enjoy laying people out and scoring some Datsyuk-esque goals, pick this up.
