@poison_ivysaur @bunchanumbers said it best. Just go ahead and get the demo so that you can see for yourself. Because ultimately, no one can tell you if you personally are going to feel comfortable playing it on a slightly smaller screen.

But, I've played it on an original 3DS, and while not *as* comfortable as my XL, it worked fine. And talking to quite a few people I know who played the demo on the 2DS, they said it played fine as well.

Oh GameSpot. The only place where a game has one negative (a negative that certainly doesn't affect everyone, seeings as I'm a big guy with much larger than average hands), and still manages to only get an 8/10. At the very least, give me two or three bullets as to why the game was docked two points.

Based on the great deal I've seen of the Japanese full gameplay, and the time I've put into the demo, the game is probably going to be right there with Melee as the best Smash made. The roster looks (for the most part) incredibly diverse, the controls feel perfectly fine for the 3DS, and having the ability to play Smash on the go is pretty solid.

There are certain issues with lack of single player game-modes (although I'm doubting many will miss the Subspace Emissary), and the single player modes look fantastic. I love seeing some competitive ranked leaderboards, and the ability for more to get into a more "competitive" version of the game.

I guess overall, all I'm saying is, I'm not necessarily against the game receiving an 8/10 (although just based on everything I know, have seen, and what I've played, it probably is close to 9/10 in my humble opinion), but realistically, saying "the controls take some getting used to," and docking the game two full points makes very little sense to me. And yes, I read the article, and yes, there were other points he touched on in the article, but, I digress. Very much looking forward to the US release on Friday.

@Nev3rtime What you said really kinda sums up what the Zelda franchise has been. With such a large fan base that has grown over such a long period of time, it's only natural that certain people are going to have preferences as to which ones they personally enjoyed and didn't enjoy as much

@akiratasoeur Eh, no one thing has plagued each Zelda game over the years. Sure, there were parts in each game that probably bother different people, but that doesn't mean they were bad, or that they shouldn't have been receiving good reviews.

@FlameBoyBen I thought it was really good as well. And I don't think the reviewer was saying it was bad, so much as he was saying that it just had parts to it that held it back from being as "good" as some of the classic Zelda games.

I personally love seeing all the debate and discussion about what the "best" Legend of Zelda game is. It really is a situation where it showcases that old saying of beauty being in the "eye of the beholder." For me personally, my first Zelda game was OOT, and has always been my favorite in the series since. But on the flip side of things, in no way would I say I'm not a huge fan of MANY of the others.

Each game has it's own unique, and thoroughly entertaining niche that it occupies when I'm looking to play a game. While I personally love OOT, I don't think I could reasonably bring myself to say it is the "best," because almost every game in the series has been so damn good. Even ones that don't get mentioned as often, like Oracle of Ages/Seasons, were tremendous games that brought a great deal to the table. So I don't personally think you can reasonably say which one is the "best," as much as you can say which one you personally enjoyed the most. All comes down to a matter of preference.

@valknight @TheGamerPhenom @omghaxor45 Ah, gotcha. Yes, on 360, it is simply for that feature. More voicing my fears over what it will do for the One.

@valknight @TheGamerPhenom @DanieLoves @Darkitachi54 Believe me, I did a good deal of research into those policies. Had they been put into place, the only losers would've been gamers. No thanks. I like my ability to play offline, buy used games, and not be forced to buy add-ons I don't want.

@valknight Which is the ONLY reason I'm still not passing full judgment on this being a fucking stupid idea.
