@KelboDelta The quality of exclusives for either console is completely subjective.
For Xbox One I could say: -DR3 has frame rate issues (multiple reports), -Ryse was downgraded in texture quality, QTEs everywhere in gameplay -Killer Instinct is F2P and a lot of people consider it trash and not a true sequel - Forza & Drive Club don't interest me. I prefer NFS for fun and Gran Turismo for the best simulator experience. -Titanfall and Project Spark are looking really good, but those will be on the PC so they're not really exclusive.
Also PS4 will also use tablets and phones for a second screen. You are also missing remote play which is a huge feature for PS4 and Gaikai, which will let the PS4 be backwards compatible unlike the Xbox One.
@Earthen80 By your logic we should've just stuck to playing games at 480p and not bothered to improve them because they're fun. Just because you don't care about resolution doesn't mean there won't be people trying to improve it along with graphics settings. The world doesn't revolve around you.
@cogadh @Kooken58 Wrong. Steam does not do regular check-ins when in offline mode. I've had a computer in offline mode for months now and I've never been required to login to play my games.
I only have a PS3 and Xbox 360 for the exclusives and timed exclusives, but I definitely don't want to be lumped in with all the filthy console peasants who like playing at a low frame rate and with subpar graphics.
That being said, I can't wait for GTA V to come out on PC and take advantage of superior processing power and mods. PC gamers won't have to deal with a shitty frame rate, texture loading issues, and horrible aliasing coming from a weak 6-year old console lol.
The advantages of PC gaming are numerous and obvious but there will always be jealous console peasants who are either too poor to buy a gaming PC, or not smart enough to build one.
@SiLenTWarrior29 Lol we have about 95% of all console games (excluding exclusives) in addition to all the PC exclusives you console peasants don't have. Do consoles have huge sales, game mods, 60 FPS, ultra graphics, dedicated servers, and free online like PC gaming has? I'd rather wait a while for PC GTA V then play it at 25ish FPS with texture streaming issues.
@noladem504 @Apathy4Marmite Whether something comes with an accessory or not doesn't make any difference in how we will use it. The Kinect is just a gimmicky accessory and it will always remain that way because nobody likes motion gaming, much less the few shitty Kinect games that MS offers. If people want motion gaming, they'll get a Wii.
It's pretty obvious Penello is trying really hard to get people to like the Kinect with some piss-poor excuse, but you can call it logic if it makes you feel better about your wasted money.
