Sure, it won't share Your data unless You will say so, but let say - in order to play online you will probably HAVE to accept some clause that will make you share that data. If You wont accept the clause than You won't be able to use online, or download dlc.

I don't really care about the subscription fee as long the game is good, the game-world "sucks you in" and it has a huge endgame.
