i OWN, and have allready installed..

Swiftech storm wb, MCP655 pump, black ice pro 2

9mmSpliff

Well we will see who owns. once I get my system all H2O'd. I am gonna try and see how high I can take the 4400, but I will love donig the Opteron, now that I see what steppsing to go with. I know my store will let me choose what Steppings I want.

well i have a bad stepping opteron170, but it was the last one they had.. and it does only 2.6..

Now i got a good stepping X2 3800 and it does 2.8 isch..

btw 4400 have 1mb L2 cache, so it will produce some heat because of that..

i would expect approx +600 to 800 MHz OC on it .. and then 800 is stretching it..

Wel I already hit 2.78 on air with it when I did a full system overclock.Ā  Now with water I think could hit 2.9.Ā  But Iw ant to hit that awesome AMD 3.0Ghz.Ā  So with C++ stepping guide and talkin to the store this morning, they said I could search thru all the Opteron 165's for the right stepping.Ā  They have 14 left.Ā  I know that it adds some heat, but look at my stock temps.Ā  I idle between 20-22C.Ā  I never go over 26C for full load either.

Well 2.2 to 2.78 is 580MHz OC.. so that sounds about right.. and to be honnest i wouldnt expect much more from it..

And those opteron OC verry well, i wish i had 14 opteron165 to choose from..

And my X2 3800 is OCed to 2.82GHz and it idles at 24C..

the memory will produce thermal energy wich will go into the water loop, and it will warm up theĀ copper itself..

adding heat to the gpu core..

i just find it inefficient..
