Sad to see that even though your thoughts were typed out so well that all some people could muster was, "Well don't play the game!" Too bad this was all that came to their mind since you obviously put a lot of thought and effort into stating what you have. There are so many games where I feel that profanity and heavy sexual tones detracted from the experience. While I don't choose to play these games or really criticize those who do, it does make me wish that companies would realize that in many instances these things are not even necessary for their game to be enjoyable. I have watched a lot of GTAV on streams, and all I can say is that for such a well made game, the content they choose to weave through the gameplay is definitely something that, for me, makes the game forgettable.Hoffymann07
The content makes the game GTA. Have you even played the older ones?
any hardcore GTA fan would already know that you won't be seeing any characters from GTA 3, Vice City, or San Andreas, because those are from the 3D universe. GTA IV started a new universe Rockstar is calling the "HD Era". We won't be seeing any of the character from before GTA IV ever again. Only things that carry over from 3D Era are the world/enviornment background stuff like the Fast Food chains and Lazlow.

No dude, any hardcore gta fan would know that despite the 3d/hd era crap, Denise is the same Denise from SA. There are too many references. Hell, Frank has a Maddogg poster in his room. Luis had an OG Loc album in IV for crying out loud.
R* can take as long as they need. I would hate for GTA to end up like Saints Row, they released two games that really should have been one (parts 3 and 4)
