When did hating become sooooo coool? Who needs a mythical angel to be a childhood hero, when I have all these nostalgic postmodern hipster gamers to idolize?

I like that mobile (and tablet) game play to my style of game: Turn Based RPG and Strategy, and board game ports.

@packtop Unfortunately for their parents, probably too many. While in app purchases do not necessitate parasitical business practices, many games do--and they specifically target children who can purchase things without needing a CC because their parents have already entered it.

@GermanBomber @Sythion @DaneGamer Okay, counter argument: Most of the movie knock-off console games over the decades have been obvious exploitative attempts to get money for the least amount of effort. At least when you get angry birds you can enjoy it!

@GermanBomber @Sythion @DaneGamer There have always been cash grabs and quality games. If you can't tell the difference in mobile gaming then you aren't qualified to cast a blanket statement around the medium.

@GermanBomber @DaneGamer Not really sad. The fascination with Mario comes from the same place as the fascination with Angry Birds. Invalidating one invalidates the other.
