"Innovation comes from perfect execution. An innovative game that's poorly executed is not a good game. A game that's executed well is always a great game."

No...!

VtM: Bloodlines was poorly executed. Mount and Blade was poorly executed. Arguably, even hits like Minecraft and Dark Souls were poorly executed. And yet these were all good, even great games, simply because they were innovative.

Compare these titles with some of the well-executed trash that sells these days. Nobody will argue that current-gen shooters aren't well made and well executed, but that certainly doesn't make them innovative! We've been playing the same shooters since the days of Unreal Tournament and Starsiege: Tribes, for crying out loud.

It's so sad to hear this coming from a representative of what was once one of the most innovative game companies around. After playing the D3 open beta, I have to say that, while it is a well-executed game, there is nothing innovative about it.

@Hamsnowmer

I believe he's referring to you and the other 1.499999 (yes, that's five nines) WoW subscribers as suckers because you play WoW in the first place. And it's crossed out, so it's probably intended to be tongue in cheek.

P.S. Ah, the sumptuous irony of a gamer telling someone to get a life.
