Renting is what saves a gamer money. That way, you can give almost anything a try and make you own opinion. Wow, what a concept.

Most people dopn't put THAt much weight into reviews. They're guides.

Unless you come here to SW. Then you have immature posts from immature people who love to play SW. Except, as a game, I only give SW 1 out of 10.

The game is mediocre, it flopped. Get over it. Strawman arguments won't change anything. Let it go. MGS 4 comes out next month. Time to move on.heretrix

See me complaining about the score? See me complaining about bashing the select few who hyped this game? NO!

Once the ignorant threads stop, I will stop. People take this "hype" crap way too far.

The mass majority of multiplats do score higher on the 360, where have you been?

Reality is this game was due for the 360, pc and ps3 originally. If it'd stuck with the 360/pc it would of done better, IN MY OPINION. There just easier to work with, the game suffers graphics problems, that's likely because of how difficult the PS3 is to work with.

But hey, I'm guessing. Just an opinion.

With that said the topic creator needs to loosen up, this board shouldn't be taken seriously. If you're going to be a rabbid sony fanboy you should learn to take the good with the bad.

GS review:

Abysmal storytelling and voice acting squander the interesting premise

Stupid artificial "intelligence"

Multiplayer is uninspiring and unbalanced

IGN Review:

Presentation
A bland story with weak characters and simplistic commentaries on serious topics, Haze is a generic tale at best about war

Sound
Dialogue is hokey and repetitive regardless of what side you're on. Sound effects are good, but that's not enough to make you turn the volume up once you've hit mute.

Gameplay
A creative concept hampered by gimmicks, a weak story and poor AI, Haze is a disappointment from a developer well versed in shooter mechanics.

Lasting Appeal
Two player split-screen and four player co-op helps put a minor spin on the campaign, but it won't extend the replayability of the game much. Nor will multiplayer modes and its useless merit system.

Read those negative points on Haze and tell me how PS3's difficulty to dev on has anything to do with them.

Put a game on 360 and the story gets better? The dialogue gets better?

[QUOTE="StringGuard"][QUOTE="Danm_999"][QUOTE="StringGuard"] And this doesn't happen with Wii owenrs or 360 owners?

Here's the issue. We all, ALL OF US, use screenshots to base our opinion of a game early in development. And, yes, its stupid for anyone to do. Buuuut, we all do it. Why is it that PS3 owners catch all of the flak?

Yes, early on, Haze looked great. It looked to be bnear Crysis quality and matching the graphics of Halo. That is how it appeared in the screenshots. But, oh, how misleading that was. Just like it always is.

cosmostein77

No, it doesn't. They aren't operating under the same context.

The 360 and Wii libraries have not been constant dissapointments in exclusives. The context is completely different.

Sure about that?

Interesting!!!!

Say does PS3 have an exclusive that has outscored Metroid Prime 3 or Kameo yet?

Are you really trying to say that MP3 and Kameo are better than ANY PS3 exclusive?

You see people, here's where you are clueless. You put all this weight into review scores merely to play SW. The problem is, SW isn't a video game. Video games are those things we love that have that little character, some interaction, you know, a friggin' video game.

While review scores are a great way to get an idea of how worthy a game is to even try, it is not the end-all to whether a game is fun to play. And we do play video games for fun, right?

When it comes down to it, ANYONE making a prediction of a game before playing it is foolish. You really haven't a clue until its in your hands.

Yet, you ignore that. You act as if every game that got a good score on 360 was hyoed to be good by 360 owners. And that every 360 game that scored bad wasn't hyped at all by 360 owners. Its laughable at best.

You just don't get it. Whether by choice or genuine ignorance, you don't get it. NO ONE has seriously used Haze as a platform to bash the PS3's capabilities. It was hyped to be AA in the OFFICIAL hype thread, and it failed to even get an A score. If flopped, end of story. Don't try to dance around that.
Verge_6

I don't disagree with that. You want to look at the "official" Haze hype thread and see what cows made the high score claim, fine. Go bash them.

But you can't tell me that you haven't seen what I am talking about. People use this "teh pwnage" to bash PS3, in general, and the PS3, in general. That's my issue. Like anyone out in the real world would go look at a game on a shelf and say, "well, even though it got a 7, 'cows' said it would be a 9. So, I won't get this game."
