Looks like an alright gig to me, but I reckon' that's because I don't spent my time on the internet pandering to social justice mantra and the outrage culture that comes attached. Perhaps she wanted a safe space.
Maybe if it was $10 or less I would bite. Tried the Steam free weekend, and it was more of the same COD that's been beaten to death. COD lost its novelty, and its soul.
I hope those who lost their jobs are able to find work. Sad to see the closures of studios, especially ones that have been around for a long while. Good luck to all those involved.
@Tha_Rnar: Keep in mind that "freedom of speech" is not absolute on the internet, especially in relation to sites where you agree to a Terms of Use. Besides, we're more like ninjas ... not overlords.

Developers find themselves in an odd place in today's social-media centric environment, and their (typical) best course of action - as a company - is always find the path of least resistance for public relations manners. Whether or not it's right or wrong to conform to opposing views on the basis of "what's offensive or not", is very relative (Cultural relativity and all that). But I think it's important that we all realize that video games are an important free speech medium, and to interrupt that to appease one's selfish motifs is a tragic infringement of a developer's vision. Yes, the developer's make the call, but make no mistake that there are communities out there that go out of their way to force ones hands.
