I think the obvious answer to this is if you don't agree with homosexuality, simply avoid the relationships in the game. Would that not solve the issue for you? The point here is that people are given a choice, it's not really about being gay at all.
It always amazes me when I hear people complaining about homosexuality in any context. To all you homophobes out there, instead of complaining about the homosexuality of others or, even better, fictional characters, perhaps you should be worrying about your own life which undoubtedly has it's fair share of issues to deal with BEFORE telling other people how to live theirs...
@Lucca202 Well, I was perfectly happy with the writing in ME2. As I said, Jack's character was written superbly and I look forward to how they develop that games characters in the ME3.
@Lucca202 You consider whether or not there is a sex scene in a bioware game to be a change of direction? What about the omission of the RPG aspects such as the gear custimization and the dumbing down of the ability upgrades? I was more concerned about those rather than there being a tame 10 second romance scene...
@Lucca202 Sometimes I wonder how Sin City ever got published - but it did. I hate comics but I also recognise that they have certain artistic and cultural value. My personal opinion of them has nothing to do with that.
@Lucca202 How on earth can you say Mass Effect 3 will have bad relationships when it isn't even out yet? Also, the romance seen with Miranda is not a sex scene because there is no sex involved in it. It fades to black before anything really happens.
