you need to post the rest of your specs though, and what resolution you'll be playing at. 5970 is usually overkill

To run GTA IV maxed out, you need a high-end GPU. Something like Radeon HD 5890. These high-end cards costs a bit, but it's worth it. Those two cards you just linked MAY run GTA IV low/medium (If you're lucky). So investing in one of the new cards is the best thing you can do.

Personally I'm playing GTA IV with a XFX Radeon HD 4870 "xXx" 1GB GDDR5 and even with this card I can't max it out.

[QUOTE="Splaat"]

I thinking about getting this card
EVGA GeForce GTX 480

Do any of you guys have some experience about this card or manufacturer?
And will it be worth the money?

aura_enchanted

dont get it no.. for the same cash you can either get 2 hd 5850's (which outpreform it(assuming you have a crossfire motherboard)) any hd 5870 and then oc it for similar preformance results or finally you could go digging for a republic of gamers matrix (hd 5870 on custom board with a new fansink) and then oc it and outpreform it :P

seriously the only reason anyone would want a gtx 480 or any nvidia gpu this year is because their old card is that bad, or they want the best gpu possible and are too stuck up to buy a 5970

So if I have the choice between EVGA GeForce GTX 480 and XFX Radeon HD 5970, I should go for the XFX card.
