I see a lot of posts missing what the article was about. Marketing hype and the more to the point, inappropriate advertising phrasing by the Devs. If they are plugging the game with constant references to "extreme realism", the credibility of that team is severely hindered when the player takes a half a mag of bullets leaving them at deaths door only to (seemingly) regenerate to 100% in the matter of seconds with no physical presence of the grievous wounds they had just received. If you want authentic, go sign some papers and say the oath. You want entertainment, keep an open mind.

This article could have been done for almost any genera though. You could replace “modern-day shooter” and input the next AAA game coming out. It’s just hype. Nothing we have not seen before though. Anything to catch headline and gain the market’s attention. Kind of like the purpose of the original article…
