NO the Wii is pretty much locked into 480p. The screens are probably pre-rebderedto make them look nicer. It just makes me want an HD Wii, between these screens and screen shots from Wii emulators on PC. BTW at just re bought a Wii after selling it in back 2008 because of this game so I'm still getting used to looking at pixelated 480p again.

Has anyone noticed that all the screen shots of Skyward Sword are at 720p high def? It is a bit of a tease for me considering how good the screens look at that resolution. The game still looks great in 480p but I think Nintendo should not post pics of this game at a resolution we will never see on the Wii. I checked the screen shots for the other Wii games Nintendo showed off at e3 and they are all at the usual 480p
Off topic here, but what film is your avvy from? I freaking love John C reilly. Ahh, i'm guess Tim and Eric's Awesome Show?

I'm looking forward to using Netflix in my living room. I used to use it on my Xbox but I didn't have the wifi adapter or a long enough cord to reach. Netflix was one of the only reasons I was using my xbox recently. My xbox is at the shop now after it redringed watching Serenity in HD over Netflix on it.
Just got an email that my Netflixstreaming disc is arriving tomorrow. Anyone else get this email? Can't wait to try it out.
