I'm arguing as to value of upgrading to a new console, from a financial (performance:dollar) perspective. Not whether the PS4v1 is still a viable platform.

Feel bad for the people who bought the PS4 at launch and plan to buy this. That's $800 in non-upgradable, closed system hardware in a period of 3 years...Not to mention the 3 years of PSN subscription ($150). Heck, even throw in a new DS4 since most everyone has a broken one (not charging, won't connect, etc.)

$800 PC will walk all over the 'new' PS4, especially if you buy used components.

The people claiming this new hardware bump will match the R9 290 in performance are smokin' that good good.

And yes, I have PS4 and PC for those who care.

Time for console players to just get a PC and a couple controllers (XBONE controller and dongle or DS4 and bluetooth dongle).

There's no reason to upgrade consoles every two years and pay $50 a year in online fees. Just get a PC and call it a day.

Huge, huge fan of ME and ME2. Some of the best times I've ever had gaming.

ME3 let me down, to a certain extent. Seemed very stripped down and lacking. A lot of the RPG elements missing.

Inquisition I did like, so I have high hopes for Andromeda. Don't let us down Bioware.

Fans can now hype for the day the hype will begin. Thats when the real 'hypin' kicks in and will continue until the actual game comes out.

And then all the FF fans will be disappointed and mad because the game does not compare to the first 7 games. Like they do with every iteration.
